What a precious little man! He’s got style. He’s got swagger. He’s got a pretty talented mom, too!
This cool little guy is proud to call the one and only Stephanie Carter from The Southern Fashion House, “Mamma”.
Most of you are probably familiar with Stephanie Carter’s clothing lines from Judith March or Jaque & Janis. Or maybe you’ve shopped online and in one of the fantastic DejaVu retail stores located in Fairhope, Alabama or Panama City Beach, Florida or Seaside, Florida or Key West, Florida. Recently, Stephanie and The Southern Fashion House partnered with Missy Robertson of Duck Dynasty on a new line of clothing.
I mean, this Mamma is one busy lady! And, basically, if you are a Southern gal, you’ve heard of one of these fun spirited lines of clothing / shopping options from Stephanie Carter. (You probably have one of her dresses hanging in your closet!)
It’s no wonder that her son has the same fantastic style as mom. But, on top of that, he is a really fun-loving little boy who loves all things little boys enjoy.
Shelli had such a fun time capturing the moment with this little guy. We think he would be a perfect model one day!! Don’t you?

Well, MERRY CHRISTMAS 2013!!
Today, I bring you my very best friend in this big world, Kristy Ellis Drinkwater, and her HIP family!
Kristy is a Fine Artist, Owner, and Creative Director at Counterpart Brand & Design, LLC. Adam is the real estate broker at Landmark Realty in Troy, Alabama.
They are truly two of the most talented people I know and I feel so honored to have Kristy as graphic designer for Shelli Allen Photography.
Most of her work is behind the scenes, but you better believe she KILLS it!
The setting was under a bridge. Kristy and I planned and styled beforehand to ensure we were on our A-game for that day.
Then the actual shoot was all fun and play. I was more behind the scenes while they just had a little party under the bridge!
My favorite part of the shoot was engaging with these 2 little youngins! Lola was a little Mama and constantly wanted to help me to make sure Joe was on task.
Joe is a high energy little stinker and it took all I could to keep the camera still while photographing him because I was laughing so hard. Kristy and Adam just sat back and shook their heads!

Ah, there is NOTHING like a newborn.
Naomi and Drew moved from England and found us on Google. We are so happy because we have fallen in love with this little family.
